

Grace was a proud graduate of Columbia Central High School and went on to have a long and fulfilling career as a switchboard operator for South Central Bell and AT&T. She was married to Joe Krantz, who preceded her in death. The couple married on October 30, 1959, in Davidson County, Tennessee.
Grace had many passions in life. She loved spending time outdoors, particularly gardening, tending to her flowers, and enjoying camping and fishing. Above all, she cherished her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Mary D. Krantz; sister-in-law, Judy Fergurson; nephews, Edward Lee, David Lee (Joanne), Clay Tidwell; nieces, Genie Harville, Glynnelle Echterling, Becky Poupard (Craig) and Lissa Albritton (Donnie); as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Wade Fergurson and Jeff Fergurson, and her sisters, Mary Tidwell, Georgia Lee, and Mattie Winchester.
Honorary pallbearers include Martha Nicholson, Chuck Nicholson, Karen Litton Scale, Alma Litton, Lissa Albritton, and Brandy Albritton.
Pallbearers will be Leonard Lee Jr., Jeff Lee, Donnie Albritton, Anthony Lee, Andy Lee, Eddie Anderson, and Ryan Anderson.
A funeral service to celebrate Grace’s life will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, Tennessee. Visitation will be held two hours prior, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Grace’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
