Irene "Renee" (Young) Weglarz

Renee, born June 17, 1926 in Toledo, OH, was the eldest of 8 children. In addition to her parents, John J. Russell and Irene M. Willitzer, Renee is preceded in death by her first husband of forty-three years, Robert R. Young, Sr. and son, Thomas R. Young.

In May, 1997, Renee married widower Stanley V. Weglarz. They shared their love and families. Above all else, she was a devoted wife, loving mother, doting grandmother, great-grandmother, and faithful friend. Renee was an accomplished seamstress, country music fan and tireless volunteer at her church and in the community.

In addition to her husband, survivors include Marilyn (John) Render, Irene (Donald) Schmidt, Robert R. Young, Jr., Jane (Jerry) Craig, Carol (Ben) Boles, Harriet (Larry) Stewart, Robert (Mary Ellen) Weglarz, Michael (Tricia) Weglarz, Joseph Weglarz and Tom Janis, Walter Weglarz, Stanley (Nancy) Weglarz, and 26 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Renee is also survived by her sisters, Carolyn Meehan and Sr. Mary Janene Russell, SND of Toledo, OH, and Mary Serra of Richmond, VA.

Visitation with the family is at 12 p.m. on Monday, August 4 at Holy Rosary Church, Donelson, TN, followed by a Memorial Mass Celebrating her Life at 2 p.m. Internment at Calvary Cemetery.
