Wonderful memories of John. I have had the good fortune of witnessing a 25 year love affair between two people who were truly, as John said, "each other's bestest friends".  As you asked me a week ago this past Sunday,  I will be sure and take care of Mother for you & someday ya'll will be holding hands again.

To Martha and Delores, I got to know John through the two of you.  He was a delightful man and I am happy that I knew him, if only slightly.  My thoughts adn prayers are with you.

I remember him teaching me to tie my shoes and how to whistle when I was 5 years old ;) When he would come home from being over the road he would give me all the dimes out of his pocket to put in my piggy bank and Nannie and I would roll them for my savings account.  I am lucky to have many memories, that I will hold close to my heart forever !!!

Granddaddy, WE LOVE YOU !!! You will be missed dearly !!! My mom is a happy girl in Heaven today because she has you and my Nannie with her for Eternity !!! 
Nannie has waited 25 yrs so you better give her a kiss when you get there ;) !!!
