I cannot tell you how many times I've started to write something but stopped. Expressing your feelings can be difficult sometimes. This morning I found myself thinking a lot about Travis. Though we hadn't been life-long friends, we formed a bond quickly. 

The last time I heard from Travis was the night before my birthday. We had planned to go out for Valentine's Day. I remember being so angry with him because he wouldn't answer his phone. It wasn't until the 15th of February that I heard the news. I rushed out to see him...attended every Travisfest since and visited him when he was in Murfreesboro.

We have all cried, laughed, and smiled remembering sweet puppy dog eyed Travis. (one of the things I loved most about him, not to mention his heart). It has been a tough journey for you all. I admire your strength and will continue to pray for your family. 

The Lord has called Travis home for he needed that angel for something very special. 

I love you all.

There are no words I can give to comfort all of you but please know in your hearts that Travis was very well loved.  I remember back when Travis and my daughter Alice were roomates in the apt. by your house.  He had such a wonderful personality and loving nature.  They remained friends throughout the years.  I know Alice thinks the world of all of you.  

This is such a difficult time for everyone however with the love and caring everyone shares may we all find peace knowing that Travis's time on this earth was well spent and the love he shared with so many will last forever.

We are sorry for the heart breaking loss of your son. We prayed for you and your family.
