My condolences I enjoyed knowing Johnny and appreciated his knowledge of history and community

For some reason Johnny stuck to FRHS ALL his life. Tireless dedication, my father enjoyed him so very much....what a wonderful light he was that has now gone out...but we remember!

The few times John and I got to talk, he was always so friendly in person and on the phone.  I am sorry to hear about his passing.  My thoughts and prayers go out to you Nancy.  I know his gentle spirit and fond and loving memories will help you through this difficult time. With deepest sympathy,

John was a good friend of my parents, Burton and Virginia Creswell. He was always active in Christ the King.

Nancy knowing you and your love for John, I know he was a good person. He was always pleasant over the phone when he would call and we would call for you. May God give you the peace the surpasses all understanding.

John Shea was a long time friend, he will be missed.  The Golden Grad Ceremony will never be the same.

John was a Catholic fixture not only too FRHS but too the Catholic community and Dioces of Nashville. He leaves a since of love and joy and Peace. He will be remembered in the hearts of Nashvillians.

Loved it when Johnny would stop by and see me.  He would always sing me a song. A very talented man and loved by everyone he met.  Prayers to Nancy and the family.

Johnny brightened up my day when he would stop by Father Ryan to visit or help me plan our Golden Grad events. He holds a special place in my heart, and I will never forget his sweet voice and our chats. He is singing with the choir of angels now.

Johnny was loved by all in the Father Ryan community. He will always be one of Father Ryans favorite sons. My prayer is that he will watch over his beloved school for eternity. His presence on our campus is already missed. May he rest in peace.
