Johnny W. Craig, age 83, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Johnny was born May 25, 1938 to Mary Frances Craig Coles and Elmer V Craig. Graveside Service in his honor for family and friends will be held at 1pm on Saturday, April 23 at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Johnny retired from the Tennessee Highway Patrol after 27 years of service. He loved playing golf and riding his Harley.
He was a member of The Tennessee Highway Patrol Retired Officers Association, Fraternal Order of Police, Blue Knights International, FOP Lodge #42, American Legion Post 88, John B Garrett Lodge #711, and Harley Davidson Owners Group.
Survived by wife of 40 years, Monty Lowery Craig, daughters Sherrie Harrington, Jackie (Ricky) Hudson, step-son Rodney (Barbee) Hysinger, 5 grandchildren; Adam Harrington, Shauna (Taylor) Bowers, Steven Harrington (Jordan), Ashley Hudson, and Paige Hudson, 3 great-grandchildren; Kennedi Bowers, Tynleigh Bowers, Peyton King; and his cat Savannah.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father Elmer V Craig and his mother Mary Frances Craig Coles; his brother Richard Craig and his sister Sandra Richardson.
