Joyce married Raymond Earl Lannom, Sr., in Nashville, Tennessee, where they were married from 1946 until his passing in 1982. Faithful wife, mother, and Art Teacher (fun fact: one of her students was Goldie Hawn’s niece.) She was baptized on September 28, 1958, at Belmont Heights Baptist Church, member of Woodmont Baptist Church, and attended Westwood Baptist Church in her later years. She was the most God-loving, giving woman, regularly donating to charities or a family in need. She loved creating art and sharing it with everyone she interacted with. She loved a good party, always dressing up in her “party attire”. Joyce enjoyed dancing, creating beautiful artwork, watching old western movies (Gunsmoke was one of her favorites), spending time with family, writing stories, hosting bible study groups in her home, gardening, and drawing house plans. She DID NOT like to shop. Joyce also married O.G. Reasons in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1989 until his passing in 2005. Joyce was a great historian, writing down everything that happened in her life. She loved telling stories about her life, especially her trip to Hawaii. She always loved her family pets, but Champ was her last love. He loved her just as much as she loved him, sitting by her bedroom door to keep watch over her.
