Juanita became a dear friend during the years she and Louie served in First Baptist Church, Longview, TX.  We taught in the same Sunday School Department. Helen Carter also taught in this department, and one night at Teacher's Meeting, Helen wore a new dress she had made. Juanita and I bought the same pattern and material, made our dresses, and wore them to the next Teacher's Meeting. We laughed like a bunch of teen age girls! Juanita was a member of Longview Story League with Helen and me. She was an outstanding storyteller. Their son, Mike, and our son, Marshall, were close friends as well. I purchased her devotional book and treasure it. Fondest memories will last forever. She was a faithful servant of the Lord. Although I haven't seen her in years, I miss her. I pray God's comfort for her family.

Juanita was a special friend. I worked with her for almost six years at the Education Commission. I have nothing but good memories of her. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.

Juanita was the sweetest great aunt anyone could ask for.  She and Louie were spokesmen for the lord all their lives.  This world has lost two great prople but Jesus gained them in heaven.  Family please stay in touch as it was so good to finely meet members of our family at Louie's funeral that I didn't know I had.  Love to all the family.

Our LePeep group mourns the loss of this sweet, beautiful, southern "silver belle"". She was loved and respected by everyone. A true example of Christ-like love.

Peace to all of the family.  She will be missed.  Her legacy lives on, however, in two of the nicest and kindest people I have ever known and their families.
