

Juda Emmeline Benson, age 82, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025. She was born in Livingston, Tennessee, on September 12, 1942, to the late Haskell and Bonnie Finley Sells.
A graduate of Livingston Academy, Juda dedicated much of her life to her family, friends, and her faith. She married James Robert Benson on June 6, 1964, in Nashville, Tennessee, and together they built a life full of love and devotion. Sadly, her beloved James preceded her in death.
Juda’s career in retail as a cashier at Food Lion brought her into contact with many people, and she was known for her kindness and unwavering support for those around her. A woman of deep faith, she was passionate about living a holy life, and her loving heart touched the lives of everyone she knew.
Juda was an avid gardener, an enthusiastic reader, and a lover of puzzle books. She had a natural ability to find joy in the small things and could always be relied on to lend a hand to anyone in need.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnita C. Benson; siblings, Janie Norris, Tom Sells, and Jan Daugherty; nephew, Kyle Sells; and grand niece, Freya Sells. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ron Sells.
Juda will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit of generosity, her loving heart, and her devotion to her family and friends will never be forgotten.
A visitation for Juda will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A small service be held at 2:30pm. Following service will be a committal service at graveside at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204.
