Larry Thomas Pewitt, age 83, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. He was born on August 9, 1941 in Nashville, TN to his parents James Clayburn Pewitt and Mattie Merrandi Stetson Pewitt who precede him in death.
He was a diesel mechanic for Browing Ferris Industries from which he retired.
He is survived by his daughter Teresa (Raymond) Hartman, Grandson Nathan (Helen) Hartman, Granddaughter Kaylen Hartman, Granddaughter Alexis Pewitt, Granddaughter Alyssa Pewitt Elkins, Grandson Joey T Pewitt Elkins, Great Granddaughter Emma Hartman, Great Granddaughter Uriah Hartman, Great Grandson Declan Hartman and Great Granddaughter Elizabeth Hartman.
A memorial gathering was held for Larry on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home, 429 Donelson Pike, Nashville, TN 37214.
