

Linda Sue “Molly” Brown Lowe, born December 29, 1939, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025, at Alive Hospice. Linda “Molly” Brown Lowe was born in Columbia, Tennessee to Lillie Mae & Jones Baker Brown. She was a graduate from Columbia Central high school. After graduating, she worked for Bass, Berry & Sims and J. C. Bradford & Company for a few years. She then went to work for approximately 30 years as an administrative assistant for several presidents of the department store Castner Knott, a mercantile stores company that closed in 1996. It was a career she thoroughly enjoyed.
Linda (Molly) was known for her love of her dogs, and she treated them like they were her children. She enjoyed yard work and estate sales. She also enjoyed classical music and vacationing in Sarasota, FL. She always looked forward to playing bingo at the YMCA. Many thanks to Rocky Laplante, YMCA AOA Coordinator, and his wife Mary, who were so good and kind to her. Also, many thanks to Alice Childress, who was her caregiver on some occasions.
She was a long-term member of Belmont Heights Baptist Church. Mrs. Lowe was much loved and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Harold G. Lowe, Jr., sister Sharon Bailey (Marvin), sister Ruby Worsham and brother-in-law Lyle “Sonny” Worsham, and great-niece Carole Anne Coleman.
She is survived by her sister Sheila Anne Register (David), nephew Lyle Worsham, great-nephew Luke Worsham. Nieces Debbie Coleman (John), great- nephew Jay Coleman, niece Susan Hubbell (Jeff), Great-nieces Emma Hubbell and Anna Hubbell, brother-in-law Marvin Bailey, and nephew Donnie Lowe (Joyce).
A celebration of life will be held at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Woodlawn Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, Tennessee 37204. (615-383-4754) on Saturday, July 26, 2025. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM with the funeral following at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
Pallbearers: Lyle Worsham, Luke Worsham, Paul Lynes, Mark Lynes, Jay Coleman, and Jeff Hubbell.
