In the short time that Lucas spent here on earth, he was deeply loved by his parents, brother Jacob, grandparents and all his family members near and far. Lucas was raised in the church and baptized into Christ by his dad on July 5th, 2015. Those who were blessed to know Lucas were never left in doubt about his love for others. He had a very gentle spirit and kind disposition. His network of friends was extensive at his school, his church and his Young Life group. Lucas excelled academically year over year and was an extremely bright young man. In addition, Lucas was an athlete and starting left tackle for his Brentwood Bruins Football Team at Brentwood High School. He had an infectious smile and always searched for the best way to make those around him feel welcome.
Lucas is survived by parents Mike and Amanda Davis, brother Jacob Davis, Maternal Grandparents Billy and Shiney Roberts of McMinnville, TN, Paternal Grandparents Michael and Linda Davis of Gallatin, TN, aunt Shirley (Ted) Borecki of Lexington, KY, aunt Lisa Smith of McMinnville, TN and cousins Cailey Gooch, Taylor Smith & Joshua Gooch.
Visitation will be held Wednesday October 10th from four o’clock until eight o’clock at Brentwood Hills Church of Christ. A Celebration of Lucas’ life will be held on Thursday October 11th, at ten-thirty in the morning at Brentwood Hills Church of Christ.
Pallbearers will be Coach Ron Crawford, Coach Gabe Evans, Carter King, Reid Watson, Joseph Adams, Austin Lowe and Will Laughlin. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Brentwood Bruins Football Team.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wilco Young Life or The Brentwood Bruins 12th Man Club.
