Donna (Madonna) was my colleague at the University of Michigan Hospitals Occupational Therapy Division when I first arrived in 1986 for a "temporary" assignment.  The two of us were learning to use the first era word processing programs (with the largest and noisiest printer in the universe which required its own gigantic cover in order for people to hear one another) as quickly as we could for an upcoming JCAHO visit.  Leslie was revising the Division's Policies & Procedures each day (and night) and Donna and I would race  to get them typed.  Throughout that 6 week marathon (and beyond), Donna remained upbeat, with a generous heart, a gorgeous smile (still evident in all your lovely pictures!) and genuine warmth.  She was especially kind and thoughtful to young people and children visiting the hospital clinics.  

Jim used to drop off Donna and pick her up and I remember her delight in this daily routine.  And when Sherry was really little and "staying over" with Donna and Jim, Jim would bring Sherry to the office and Donna would literally beam from ear to ear.

What an honor to get to see her again via your photos...clearly she really enjoyed her family!

Donna was a dear friend for many years.  We celebrated her and Jimmy's 50th anniversary and Donna and Jim Jr came to ours.
Donna was also a skilled transcriber for some of James Wong Architects work. We will remember her very fondly for her and Jimmy's hospitality and warm personalities.
