Marjorie Lee Wyatt, age 92, of Nashville, Tennessee, departed this life on September 30, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 30, 1930 in Princeton, Indiana to the late Charles Earl Self and Cleota Woodruff Self. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Billy Wyatt, and her loving sister, Bette Null.
Marjorie returned to nursing school once her children were grown and received her Bachelors Degree and license as a registered nurse. She was employed at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee for 20 years. Marjorie traveled to various countries in South America to provide aid to those in need. A true angel who walked among us.
Marjorie is survived by her children, Chris Wyatt (Verna) of Nashville, Tennessee, Jeff Wyatt (Kim) of Northport, Alabama, and Jane Fitters (Robert) of Nashville, Tennessee. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren, Christopher Wyatt (Alex) of Jacksonville, Florida, Billy Wyatt of San Diego, California, Nicole Holland (Heath) of Nashville, Tennessee, Marjorie Lester (Dillon) of Watertown, Tennessee, Stephen Wyatt of Nashville, Tennessee, Lucas Wyatt of Bradyville, Tennessee, and Joshua Wyatt of Northport, Alabama, six great grandchildren, and her faithful and loving dog, Lando.
A Celebration of Life will be held at ten o’clock in the morning on Saturday the 12th of November 2022 at Crievewood United Methodist Church in Nashville, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Doctors without Borders, Heifer International, or a charity of one's choice.
