Martha Fay Anderson

Martha F. Anderson, 91, of Nashville, Tennessee, died Friday, January 24, 2025. She was born in Florence, Alabama on December 31, 1933, to parents, John and Annie Risner. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Martha was preceded in death by her father, John Enoch Risner; her mother, Annie (Brewer) Risner; her husband, Robert Anderson; her brothers Turner Risner, Robert Risner, James Risner, Douglas Risner, Billy Risner; sisters Mildred Womble, Alta May Irons, Louise Givens, Juanita Green; stepson, Jerry Baggort, and grandson, Jared Crumby.

Martha is survived by her son, Johnny Crumby (Bonnie); daughters Charlene Lawrence (Bobby), Marlene Baker, Darlene Flannery (Jerry); grandchildren Johnny Crumby, Jr., Joe Crumby, Robby Raygan, Caleb Lawrence, Holly Baker Tapper, and Justin Johnson. Martha also leaves behind eight great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.

There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends for Martha at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home on Monday, January 27, from 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM, and on Tuesday, January 28, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at the funeral home. Following the service, Martha will be laid to rest in the Wilson County Cemetery, 618 South Maple Street, Lebanon, Tennessee.
