

Born and raised in Nashville, Martha was the daughter of Fannie Mai and William Mincy, owners of the former Mincy ‘s Pharmacy on Nolensville Road in Woodbine. After attending Central High School, she became a homemaker and mother of four children while having a career in sales at Castner-Knott, and later as manager of several Nashville apartment complexes. She was most recently a member of Tusculum Hills Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by husbands, James B. Jenkins, Jr., and Kenneth Humphrys; son, Stephen Jenkins; parents, Fannie Mai and William Mincy; brothers, William Mincy, James Mincy; sister, Sarah Frey; step-son, Calvin Humphrys; son-in-law, Harry Paul Hirst.
Survived by daughters, Terry (Dale) DelBello of St. Petersburg, Florida; Janis Hirst of Nashville, Lori Jenkins of Nashville; other daughter, Sandy Troope of Nashville; granddaughter, Danielle (Michael) DelBello Saglio of Clearwater, Florida; grandsons, Dale (Lindsey) DelBello of Cleveland, Ohio, Derek (Ronica) Hirst of Greenville, Mississippi; Bryan Hirst of Nashville, Tennessee; Steph (Jesse) Caldwell, Jersey City, New Jersey. Great-grandchildren include: Sydney DelBello of Cleveland, Ohio; Blake Hirst of Greenville, Mississippi; Taylor Jennings of Greenville, Mississippi. She is also survived by special sisters-in-law, Polly Mincy Pearson of Daytona Beach, Florida; Joyce Dillard of Nashville; Emily Jenkins of Union City, Tennessee.

Graveside Memorial Service on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at eleven o’clock in the morning, Woodlawn Memorial Park with gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the graveside at Woodlawn Roesch Patton Funeral Home.
