REED, Mary J age 84 went to be with the Lord on July 11, 2013. Preceded in death by husband, CW4 Douglas L Reed; parents, Griffith & Marguerite Jones; brother, Griffith T Jones Jr. Survived by children, Douglas L Reed Jr., Donna Hooper (Greg) Baird, Martha White, Pat (Pete) Swafford; grandchildren, Courtney, Kelly (Robbie), Landis, Kirstie; great grandchildren, Reed, Michael, Kennedy. Mary was a very kind, compassionate woman with a heart of gold for animals and people. No one ever left hungry or unloved from Mary’s home. She was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother and friend and will truly be missed by all. Graveside Services Monday, July 15, 2013 11 am at Mt Olivet Cemetery. Visitation with family Sunday, July 14th 2 pm until 8 pm at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mary’s honor to the American Diabetes Association, St Jude’s Children’s Research or Nashville Humane Society
