YOUNG, Mary S. age 79, passed away May 2, 2012. She was born on February 25, 1933 in Nashville, TN. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, & great-grandmother, showing support with her tender heart. She is preceded in death by, parents, Robert B. Jones & Pauline (Norman) Johnson; husband, Rev. Maurice Young Sr.; grandson, Oakley Reed, III. She is survived by daughters, Sheryl (Oakley “Joe”, Jr.) Reed & Karen (Chris) Hudson; sons, Maurice Young Jr. & Michael Young. Grandchildren, Maurice Young, III, April Young, Kuma Reed (Travis) Hatley, & Shaun Reed; great-grandchildren, Devon, Isabella, Gracie, Mykah, Nate, Shylah, Kaitlyn & Conner; sisters, Rose Boardman & Betty Fisher; aunt, Irene Sprinkles & several nieces. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Woodbine UMC Building & Grounds Fund. Funeral Services will be 2:30 Saturday, May 5, 2012, in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall, with visitation two hours prior, Entombment will follow in Woodlawn’s Cross Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2012 atArrangements under the direction of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Nashville, TN.
