I just now learned of Mike's passing, and am devastated by the sad news.  I only knew Mike through our mutual involvement with the Ole Miss Engineering School, but I found him to be an incredibly nice guy and a pleasure to work with.  My prayers are with the family.

Tallahatchie County Board of Supervisors extends their deepest sympathy in your loss today, and the days ahead.  We have enjoyed many years of working with Michael over the years.  You and your family will remain in our prayers.

Michael Caples was one of the nicest people I have ever met.  It was a joy to work for him at Butler Snow.  I pray for comfort that only God can provide for Sylvia and the girls.
