Mildred Yvonne Williams Brown was called home to her Lord and Savior on October 16, 2024, at the age of 67. Yvonne was born in Nashville, TN. on May 2, 1957, was raised in Donelson and spent many years living in Hendersonville, TN. before moving to Mount Juliet, TN.
Yvonne chose to purse a nursing degree as an early adult and spent many years providing care in the nursery at Baptist Hospital (now St. Thomas Mid-Town). Her happiness came from putting others first.
She was a great cook, known for her fudge pie, chess pie, Coke Cola cake and deviled eggs at family holiday events. Yvonne loved the water and never passed up an opportunity to “wet a line” in hopes of catching a crappie. She was an avid birdwatcher and was happiest when her toes were in the sand at the beach. She loved cheering for the Tennessee Volunteers but most importantly, she loved her family deeply.
Yvonne was the beloved mother of Corey (Kelly) Brown of Hendersonville, TN. and stepmother to Alisa (Sunil) Advani of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by her bonus son, US Army Major Casey (Susanna) Brown and his daughters, Elizabeth and Emily, of Washington, DC. Yvonne was preceded in death by her mother Patty Kasbaum Williams, her father William (Bill) Williams and brother Herbie Williams.
She is survived by her siblings, Mary Anita Patterson, Mount Juliet, Teresa Bryson, Hermitage, Rodney Patterson, McMinnville, Lucian (Delana) Patterson, Lebanon, Randy Williams, Mount Juliet, and Connie (Walter) Lovell, Donelson. She was beloved by 8 nieces and nephews: Tammie Broadway, Wesley Bryson, Allen Patterson, Shane Patterson, Crystal Patterson Green, Davis Lovell, and Elise Lovell. She had 20 grand nephews and nieces and 10 great-grand nieces and nephews.
Her beautiful smile, welcoming personality and gentle soul will be missed by all who knew her.
