Mildred Lee Meadows Duncan, age 87, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016. She was born on October 30, 1928 to the late Clarence & Lider Meadows in Nashville, TN. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Duncan, Sr.; brothers, Bud & Jack; sisters, Bertha & Ruth. She is survived by sons, James, Jr. (Mary) and Michael (Marsha); 4 grandchildren, Jason (Kristie) Duncan, Shawn (Holly) Duncan, Ginny (Merlyn) Arqueta, Esta Duncan; and 7 great-grandchildren, Jace, Kiley, Lucas, & Julian Duncan and Jacob, Tito, & Kimberly Arqueta. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2016 from 2-6pm at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 5, 2016 at 10am at Nashville National Cemetery in Madison, TN.
