Ossie Pearl Frey

Ossie Pearl Frey, age 99, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024. She was born in Hickory Flatts, Mississippi on April 28, 1925. Ossie graduated from W.P. Daniel High School in New Albany, Mississippi and Blue Mountain College.

Ossie was married to James Howard Frey on December 20, 1948 in New Albany, Mississippi. She was a homemaker who took care of her family with love and care. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Nashville. Ossie had a passion for sewing, reading, interior decorating and Bible study.

She was survived by her daughter, Kerry Collins; grandchildren, Michael (Marleana) Collins and Katie Collins; great-grandchildren, Luna Waldron, Addie Collins and Tate Collins.

Ossie is preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Frey; 2nd husband, James Harrell; daughter, Karen Watts; granddaughters, Ashley Watts Waldron and Abby Collins; her parents, Richard and Vera Staggs and her brothers, Samford Staggs, Wallace Staggs and Richard Staggs.

A gathering of family & friends for Ossie will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A celebration of life will occur Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 1:45 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204.
