Philip Fried Guinsburg, age 76 of Brentwood, passed away on September 25, 2022. His brothers, Edwin and James Guinsburg, preceded Philip in death. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Debbie Guinsburg, children Mark Guinsburg and Michael (Yotheeya Naicker) Guinsburg, brother, Thomas (Julie) Guinsburg, special friends, Greg Smith, Luanne Overton, Toby Abrams and Mike Glenn.
Philip graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Columbia College and a PHD from The University of North Dakota. He loved the N.Y. Yankees, N.Y. Jets and the N.Y. Knicks. He was a Past President of Dream Makers for many years and also served as President of the Middle Tennessee Association of Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Counselors. He was awarded the Professional of the year locally and nationally for drug abuse counselors.
Graveside services will be held on Friday September 30, 2022 at 2 PM at Congregation Micah.
