Rebecka "Becky" Vaughan Lambert

Rebecka Vaughan LAMBERT, age 85, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Rebecka was born October 6, 1936 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Andrew Patrick Vaughan and Addie Mae Francis Vaughan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Lambert; brother, Andrew Beverly Vaughan; sisters, Sister Andrea Vaughan DC, Addie Mae Curley, Ted V. Franklin and Lucille Poyner; nieces, Anita Francis Shacklett, Judy Vaughan, Emily Poyner Vance and Deborah Michelle Marlin; nephew, Patrick Curley.

She is survived by her Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law, Edward J. and Mary Margaret Lambert; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.

Rebecka graduated from St. Cecilia Academy in 1954 and St. Thomas School of Nursing in 1957. She was a staff nurse and night supervisor at St. Thomas Hospital. Rebecka founded the Rebecka Vaughan Lingerie in Green Hills.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her honor to the Daughters of Charity, Nashville Humane Society or Aveanna Hospice.

A Mass will be held at ten o'clock in the morning on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at St. Henry Catholic Church, 6401 Harding Pike, Nashville, Tennessee 37205. Inurnment will take place at Calvary Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Mary Queen of Angels.
