Bob and I were friends when we attended U of D H/S. We had many laughs together and during our lunch-time conversations we often wondered what the future held for us after graduation. Our one skip-day “mis-adventure” of a drive to Prudemville, Michigan was seen as a rite-of-passage that ended with a thud( we got caught, and received after school detentions). 

Bob was just a great , friendly guy. May he Rest In Peace. My condolences to his family and friends.

We will miss that twinkle in Robert’s eyes that hinted at a bit of mischief just before he told a really great joke!  He always had time to ask about our day or share a story. In his later years you never knew where Robert would pop up on his bike... could be Clayton or Forest Park....I expect he is traveling many more wonderful  places now. We had lots of laughs with Robert over the fence over the many years we lived next door. A special memory is how Robert laughed every time at John's joke, "Why does the seagull fly over the sea? Because if he flied over the bay, he'd be a bagel" He was so generous with his kindness and humoring  our son, then at age 7-8, now 23.  Robert was a darn good man, and we miss him! Robert was a true man of God.  He led by example every day.  He insisted on taking his daughter to her first day of school each year; he never raised his voice; he was patient and loving.  Always without judgement, which is so unusual for someone so skilled in the law.  We were blessed to be neighbors for six years and loved every minute.  May his memory be eternal!

Robert was an endearing man and a lovely neighbor. We have such fond memories of sharing yard work, opinions on coffee and even a lawnmower.  We miss him.
