FANNING, Robert Leon died October 7, 2012 at NHC in Lewisburg, TN, one day after his 89th birthday. He is preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Fanning; sisters, Ruby Robinson and Lucille Hulsey. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Fronie Louise (Certain) Fanning; son, John Arthur (Susan) Fanning, Lyles, TN; daughter, Pat (Tom) Kepple, Huntingdon, PA; brother, Clifford Fanning, Murfreesboro, TN.; many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Caney Spring Baptist Church and served his country in the U.S. Army 1943 – 1946. Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2012 in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with Brother Stephen McCollum officiating .
