

Ronald was born on April 13, 1944, in Sylvester, Georgia, to the late Lowell Bradford Weaver and Willie Mae Maddox Weaver. On January 15, 1965, he married the love of his life, Judith Gayle Lancaster, in Nashville, Tennessee, beginning a devoted marriage that spanned six decades.
Known to many as “Ronnie,” he dedicated 32 years of faithful service to Nashville Electric Service, where he was respected for his strong work ethic and reliability. Outside of work, Ronnie found joy in life’s simple and meaningful pleasures. He had a lifelong passion for motorcycles, a deep appreciation for livestock, and loved traveling and exploring new places, especially when shared with family.
Ronnie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judith Gayle Weaver; his children, James Bradford Wever and Rhonda Gayle Weaver Maddox; his grandchildren, Dustin Goodwin, Ryan James Weaver, and Catherine Alice Taylor; his great-grandchildren, Jareth Taylor, Laura Taylor, Cooper, and Callie Taylor; and his siblings, Brenda Nicholson and Tap Weaver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Mahaffey.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, located at 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN, 37204, on December 23, 2025, from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. A private graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
