WOODARD, Ruby Hibdon, age 72, went home to be with her Lord on October 21, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Hibdon; husband, Billy Joe Woodard; sisters, Reda Bishop, Jean Hudgins, and Ann Hibdon and nephew, Steve Bowman. Ruby is survived by her siblings, Linda Sprouse, Homer (Joy) Hibdon, Jr., Carolyn (Jimmy) Honeycutt, and Brenda (Lonnie) Bowman; numerous nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Linda Steele. Visitation will be held from one until eight o’clock in the evening on Tuesday, the 22nd of October, 2013 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at one o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, the 23rd of October, 2013 in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with visitation held from nine o’clock in the morning until service time. Entombment to follow in Woodlawn’s Cross Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Alive Hospice of Nashville.
