She was born in Cheatham County, TN, to the late Jerry and Ollie Mae (Proctor) Heath.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Finis Damron; daughter, Sherry Damron (Sid) Dorris; sisters, Mildred Lane & Jean Nichols; brothers, Donald, Robert and William Heath.
She is survived by her son, John Randall (Beth) Damron of Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren, Chad Brandon (Tia) Dorris of Old Hickory, TN; Laura Damron of Sewanee, TN; Emily Damron of Boston, MA; great-grandson, Barrett Dorris; great-granddaughters, Kate Dorris and Ludmila Zasedatelev.
She was a graduate of Charlotte High School and was a member of Hobson United Methodist Church. She retired from the Nashville Credit Bureau.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to make a donation in Mrs. Damron’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Visitation will be held at five o’clock in the evening until eight on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and again on Thursday, February 5, 2015 from ten o’clock in the morning until service time at eleven-thirty, also at the funeral home.
