“My sister felt things deeply and wore her emotions close to the surface. She could be hurt easily, and forgiveness did not come easily — but beneath the hard moments was someone who could be remarkably giving and kind. Though our relationship was often complicated, I hold close some truly warm memories we shared in our adult lives, and I will always treasure them. I believe there was goodness in her spirit, and I sincerely hope she has now found the peace and healing that were so hard for her to find in this life. May her soul be at rest and wrapped in light.”

My thoughts and prayers are with Tom, Jeff, Courtney, and their families during this difficult time.  I am very blessed to have had Sandy as my friend for over 40 years.  We had so many good times together at work, but even better memories outside of work.  Sandy, I am sure you and Susan are making perogies once again.  I will miss you so much.
