Dear Jan & Family, We were very saddened to hear of Tom's passing. Over the many years as neighbors, we can recall so many spontaneous humorous stories, & jokes he related. He was such a Prince of a gentleman. Very sorry for your loss. The neighborhood will never be the same without his presence. The times were  much brighter  with him around!

Bro. Tom Dorris was a dear friend of ours.  After the 2010 flood of Nashville he helped us to get the permits needed to re-build our home in the Bellevue area.  I work for Disaster Relief and Mr. Joe Dudney was the one that helped us to talk to Tom about our problem and he took it upon himself to help us out.  A great Christian man that we grew to love and appreciate very much.  He will be greatly missed.  We are so sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry to learn of the passing of Mr. Dorris.  He was always a great friend to our family and Matt and I are especially appreciative for all he did for my parents as their health declined.

        Accept my heartfelt sympathy on the death of Tommy, he was a longtime friend from your years back at Granny White and forward to the present.  I was sorry to receive the call this morning from Bill with the sad news.  Tommy was always good to support the work at Mount Dora Childrens' Home with my group in years past.  
       I will miss talking with him from time to time.
