Sorry to hear of the passing Vicki was very helpful with trying to find some family history

For my dearest cousin Vicki- you know for someone I had never met in person you were closer to me than my own brothers and sister. I haven't counted but there must have been hundreds of emails between us over the past 5 or 6 years. We started with  genealogy and went from there to become true pen pals. Your letters kept me in tears over the years- with either sadness or laughter or sometimes both at once. You went out of your way to organize a photo of my Dad's gravestone which rests in a military graveyard in Arkansas. You were someone I had come to know with whom I felt I could truly be myself and I am going to miss you. I thank God you were right about knowing your time was near and it didn't just drag on. I played my violin to a whole nation of veterns on the radio tonight and I will NEVER be able to see a Scotsman playing the bagpipes in a kilt without thinking of you. Farewell my cousin, my sister, my friend. From your distant but close cousin, Cyndy x
