Buck enjoyed learning and became an electrician which led him to work at Ford Glass Plant until retirement. He loved to write and sing music and fishing out on the lake. Buck enjoyed spreading the gospel while teaching Sunday School class at church. He was a jack of all trades. Buck was a jokester who loved to joke with people to bring a smile and laugh out of them.
Buck is survived by his sister, Rebecca Sample; daughters, Teresa Fisher and Cheryl Fisher Dortch; son, William "Billy" Taylor Fisher, Jr.; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, located at 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. Following this, a Celebration of Life will take place at the funeral home beginning at 2:30 pm.
The Committal Service will be conducted at Woodlawn Memorial Park, also located at 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, commencing at 3:30 pm on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
Buck's life and legacy will be remembered with respect and gratitude by all who knew him.
