

Jean was born on October 6, 1929. She attended Trevecca University for three years, and during that time, she married the love of her life, Otha John Muse. Together, they shared a beautiful and devoted marriage for 61 years and were blessed with a daughter, Donna.
Jean worked in compensation department at American General Insurance Company, where she was known for her strong work ethic and exceptional skill with numbers. A gifted mathematician, she carried that same precision and dedication throughout all aspects of her life.
She found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. Jean loved to read and especially enjoyed working word searches. A woman of deep faith, she was very religious and lived her life guided by her beliefs. She also had a fondness for Reese’s candies and loved listening to the music of Dolly Parton.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Nona Money; her beloved husband, Otha John Muse; her sisters, Oryula (B.G.) Money, Oneeda Carberry, Betty Lou Sowder, and Helen Foster; and her brothers, Luther T. Money and Bobby Wayne Money.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna J. Waynick; her sister, Joanna Engle; and her granddaughter, Kimberly Cox (James Cox), along with a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
Jean will be remembered for her loving spirit, her strong faith, and the unwavering love she had for her family.
