Señor Robles,  
Muchísimas gracias a Ud y su esposa Gloria, por crear una familia unidad y amistosa.  Sr y Sra Robles, always welcomed folks to their family get togethers and treated you like one of their own (like familia).   Sr. Robles was a hard working man, whose faith and life experiences guided him.   When i think of what a marriage should be like, its you and Sra Robles that I think of--that no matter what life at you,  ya'll keep your head up, your faith strengthen and the love that united you was your super power!!

I will always have you and Sra Robles in my memories smiling and dancing.   I know you will watch after all your family members and "darles un jalón de oreja" when needed.    

I hope you know that your seeds (children) have been firmly planted and as the next generation grows, they carry with them your resiliency,  humor and love.

My dearest father in law,
I never got a chance to say thank you, Thank you for treating me like a part of your family from the first day I met you and Mrs. Robles. You didn’t know me from anything but when your sons girlfriend needed help you dropped everything and took me to tj to get medical treatment (Not the most ideal way to meet your future in laws for the first time)  but you were there regardless. You also didn’t judge me for stuffing my face with tacos after either. Thank you for being the role model in what a father should be when I didn’t have one of my own, you were and always will be the best father in law a girl could ever ask for. I also want to thank you for being the BEST GRANDPA to my babies, I will make sure your memory lives on by showing Olivia and Ezra all the photos and  videos we have taken over the years, I know they will always miss there grandpa. Lastly and most importantly I want to thank you for raising such an Amazing Son, he is truly a reflection of who you were and I am honored to be his wife. I am grateful to be apart of the Robles family and will continue to carry the name Proudly. 
Senor Manuel Robles May you continue to smile big and rest in Paradise with your soulmate. You will be forever missed and Never forgotten. 

My mom always tells me stories of my papa, I'm grateful to have known a man like him. She would tell me about how he worked hard for his family so his family in Mexico could have a better life and later on start their own families  down the line. I'm glad I got to go to church with him almost every sunday and going to eat afterwards. My mom said that when they all shared a house my Papa and Eita would give up their beds and sleep on the couches so that their kids could have share and sleep in a bed. All of these sacrifices so that his kids could have a good life. My favorite memory is when you gave me my first guitar if was in this blue box and you pulled it out of the garage. Even though it have  gotten destroyed due to time and my sister I just remember you being so happy giving it to me. Thank you for everything Papa, I love you and I know you're up there with Eita watching over us.

My favourite memory that I had with you is when this   Church had a party And I remember there was music  you wanted to dance, so me and you both  went.  You were so happy to dance. Another memory that I had with you is when we went to go feed the ducks and we were having so much fun  running and feeding the ducks. I love you so much papa and I'm so  Proud to say that I'm your granddaughter ❤

One of my favorite memories was when you use to babysit my sister and me and you would always yell "mama mama" pranking us because we thought our mom was there. You always laughed so much seeing us get excited and run to the window.  Or when you and ita used to take my sister and me to the lake to feed the ducks with a loaf of bread while we ate nieve on the bench. while I miss you so much I'm glad you are in a better place.

To my dearest Papa, I don’t know where to start.. You always had a smile on your face, always laughed when you tried to speak Spanish to me and I didn’t know what you were saying, but yet you had faith in that I knew. You always saw the good in everything and everyone and for that I will cherish forever. I miss coming inside and seeing you on the couch watching your favorite show NCIS. I now watch it all the time because of you. I’ll always cherish when you would tell me “let’s trade cars” or telling me I’m ready to get married after I made you food. I know you loved my food because you would tell me many times after that it was good and then tell tia it was good. And then ask for seconds. Also, I’m going to miss seeing you dress up all nice everywhere you went. You always knew how to dress and I loved that. I never got to tell you that I got an apartment. I know you would of been proud of me. You were always proud of me in whatever I did. God I miss you so much Papa. I think of you everyday and wish you were here with us still. Thank you for being one of the best grandpa’s ever, especially to your great grandpup Honey. She misses you a lot. She sleeps on your side of the bed and sleeps on your spot on the couch everyday. Thank you for everything. Te quiero mucho Papa. Until next time. ♥️ 

So I first met my future father in law in October of 1987.  I was affectionately renamed Juaníto Penas / Beníto Juarez. Come to think of it, this is where Gloria gets it from. Nicknaming everyone. But I digress. He was one of the hardest working and punctual people I’ve ever come to know. Always had a smile on his face as he greeted me and others with a handshake. Always made sure everyone was taken care of and would always ask about my mom and brothers. Even through the heartbreaking loss of the love of his life in late 2019. He was always concerned about my brother’s health when he was diagnosed with cancer and lost him almost a year ago also. That hit him hard also.  He was a very compassionate person and I loved that about him. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and father in law. We were all blessed to have had him in our lives. You will be truly missed.

I can’t begin to put into words how much I love and miss you. I could only imagine the reunion you had with my grandma and other loved ones up in heaven. I’m grateful for the memories I now cherish in my heart and the adventures you used to take us on as kids. We were spoiled rotten. I miss your laugh and smile and the gentleness that made you, you.  Thank you for the legacy you created and for being one of the strongest men I know. I love you papa Robles 💕

Faith, strength, compassion, and dignity, these were just some of the qualities my dad showed us. An unwavering faith in god. Strength to get up every day and carry on, compassion for those less fortunate. And dignity in all things, all the way to the end. That was my papa. My heart breaks knowing I wont be able to come into the house and Laugh with him or watch tv with him or watch him interact with my kids. I will always miss that. For the rest of my life I will miss him. Although I know he will be reunited with mom and I rejoice in that fact , I will miss his laugh, smile and the way he always made everyone feel welcome. My only hope is that I can prove to be half as good of a man as my papa was. I don’t know how I will have the faith or strength to carry on like he did or the dignity to keep things together but I will cause that’s what he would do. Love you papa and thank you for everything you did for us. Finally Rest In Peace. 


Senor Robles will be missed greatly. He was/is a wonderful role model. He was such a great example of love, hard work and patience. He was like a second dad to me. I spent a lot of highschool at the Robles house and he and Senora Robles excepted me like another one of their kids and it was awesome. Thank you and we will all miss you. I'm so happy you are now reunited with Senora Robles, and your parents and family that have passed on.... what a joyous reunion.

My dad,  the most selfless, hardworking person I know.  He did everything in his power to give us a better life.  I was too young to fully understand all the sacrifices he had to endure for us.  What I do know is that I have the most wonderful happy memories as a kid.   Sundays were my favorite.  As a family we all went to church first, then maybe  the park, or the airport to see the planes land.  Sunday's in TJ were the best!! 
I am so blessed that my kids were able to spend so much time with him and have wonderful memories together. 
Even though we will miss him dearly,  I am comforted in knowing he is with my mom.   With his bestfriend, soulmate,  and the love of his life.  
We have to angles watching over us.   I LOVE YOU APA!!!

My Dad, my HERO. These words define my Dad. He gave us everything, everything by bringing his entire family to the USA. He sacrificed everything to give us a better life. As a little girl I remember going everywhere with my Dad to translate for him. I remember him coming home in the summer eves after work with a watermelon and bag of corn, because that was our treat. I remember him taking us to the park, letting us run around. Going to church on Sundays and him taking us to get a Thriftys cone. Simple things, small things, but all given to us with love. My heart is broken and Nothing can repair the pain I feel. I will miss  my Dad for ever. Papa lo voy a estrañar siempre. Gracias por todo el amor que nos dio y nos demostro siempre. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Too many  beautiful  memories,  my dad was and will always be my hero.  He  loved  his family and was a great father, husband, grandpa, and  great grandpa.  He made many sacrifices  in order to give  his children a better life.  I love you daddy!!
