Dear Brandon, Uncle Rick, Lita, and Family,  
Auntie May and my father Felix were first cousins, though they were as close as siblings. They shared the loss of their mother at a young age and being the eldest child, took on the burden of caring for their younger siblings.  They often went foraging for food together in the jungles of Guam during WWII.  She and Pop shared the harrowing experience of watching fighter planes in a mid air dog fight. These were some of the stories she told me along with her expressions of love for her cousin Felix. The subject of religion put a damper on their relationship, but now she knows that my father was born again just as she was.  Dear Auntie May. Her passing is bittersweet for us all. Gone from  our sight but at home with the Lord.   Love, Monica 

I have many fond memories of Aunti Maria and the loving visits to papa Chu as he declined. Her jokes at my cooking favorite family chamorra dishes!🤣🤣🤣 The look on her face and she sniffed it and asked papa if this white girl knew what she was doing with the chicken kelaguin, he said its not lousy! 🤣🤣 uncle Rick tried it, then aunti did, she looked at me and said "not bad" one of my favorites. Guam Club card and lunch, she and uncle brought burgers and milkshakes to papa. Grateful to her in my life and the relationships I got to learn from thru my life. Prayers of mercy, comfort, laughter at fun memories thru this time of loss.
