Oscar D Romero

Oscar D Romero, age 83, passed away on Wednesday October 4, 2017. Oscar was born August 19, 1934. He resided in Chula Vista, CA, but was formally a long-term resident of Torrance, CA. He attended National Jr. High, then became a Semi-Truck driver and retired after 40 years of driving. He enjoyed being with family, listening to Mariachi and singing with them. Oscar is survived by; Son: Oscar Romero Jr. (deceased), who had five children named; Angelo, April, Charito, Daniel, and Lucy, Daughter: Erma Lechuga (deceased), who had three children named; Frank Jr., Mark and Vanessa, Daughter; Angela Martinez, who had two children named, Gabriel and Marcie, Daughter; Patricia Barral (deceased) who had two children named, Erica and Jose, Son; Gilbert Romero, who had three children named; Kirlinda, Gilbert Jr. and Frank, Son, Ricardo Romero, who had four children named, Nicole, Ricardo, Michael and Gabriella, and Son, Hector Romero. He is also survived by 31 Grand-children, and 2 great-grandchildren. A visitation for Oscar will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel National City, 607 National City Boulevard, National City, CA 91950. A funeral service will occur Friday, November 3, 2017 from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM, 607 National City Boulevard, National City, CA 91950. A committal service will occur Friday, November 3, 2017 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Nobel Dr., San Diego, CA 92122.
