Amanuel was born on July 4, 1956 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and made a wonderful life for himself after immigrating to Canada where he spent the last 35+ years of his life leading up to his passing.
He worked at the Grace Hospital as a Health Care Aide for many years, and was well loved and appreciated by his colleagues. Amanuel retired from his career 2 years ago and was enjoying his retirement prior to his illness.
His family and friends wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at HSC for their exceptional care and support.
Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 starting at 1:00pm at Green Acres Funeral Home & Cemetery. Due to COVID restrictions, attendance will be by invitation only. You are invited to join us virtually by clicking on the 'Join Livestream' link in the Services tab below.
