Dan passed away peacefully at River East Personal Care Home on August 11, 2026 at the age of 96. He is survived by his children: Barbara (Victor), Barry, Lisa (Bruce), and Tammy (Jason). Grandchildren Chrissy, Evan, Aaron (Cassandra), Stephanie, Karen (Rob), Kent and great grandchildren.
Dad was born in Lonesand, MB. He retired from CN Rail after 24 years. He did some travelling but liked staying close to home. He was a quiet man and he loved his family. He was a man of faith and went to Church every Sunday. He will be forever missed. A special thank you to the staff at River East Personal Care Home.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25 at Green Acres Funeral Home, 1 Green Acres Lane, Navin, MB. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery in the Garden of Devotion.
