Doreen Lowe

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing or our mother Doreen Lowe at the age of 99.

Doreen passed a mere one and one half months after her loving husband of 73 years, Jack. She is survived by her son Don (Kerry), daughter Maureen Leppington (John), sons Bob, Bill (Lisa). She will also be missed by her grandchildren Karly, Kaitlyn, Ashton (JT), Brett (Jeanne), Ryan (Lisa), Nicole (Lex) and her 5 great grandchildren, Remy, Rowan, Barrett, Jackson, and Willow.

Mom will always be remembered as a loving wife, a wonderful mother, grandmother and a passionate, caring teacher.

She taught most of her teaching career at St. George elementary school in St. Vital, positively impacting the lives of the children and families in her neighbourhood.

After retiring Mom & Dad took up golf, lawn bowling and thoroughly enjoyed the snowbird lifestyle in Mesa Arizona. Summers were spent in St. Vital continuing their passion for lawn bowling, golf & the family. Throughout her adult life Mom was an avid bridge player, doing so well into her nineties.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Riverview Health Centre for their compassionate care and support.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
