It is with profound sadness that her family announces the sudden but peaceful passing of Elaine Karen Holmes on March 28, 2015.
Elaine is survived by her father Steve and her brothers Murray and Ralph (Trish). She was predeceased by her mother Mary in 2012. She also leaves to mourn her very close friends Susan and Alphy Dupuis and Rose and Bill Jansen as well as her colleagues at Manitoba Housing.
Elaine was born on June 3, 1958 in Selkirk where she grew up. She moved to Winnipeg after high school and enjoyed a lengthy career at Manitoba Housing.
The family wishes to extend their thanks to members of Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic, Winnipeg Police Service and Arlene Prystenski of the Medical Examiner’s office for their care and compassion in attending to Elaine.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway #1 E. at Navin Road.
