Mrs. Eva Delina Lecocq Hallett

Following a lengthy illness it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eva Desrochers Hallett on Monday, September 20, 2010 at Villa Youville, Ste. Anne, Manitoba at the age of 94 with her family by her side.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters Alice Hart (Reg) and Yvette Price (Robin) both of Ste. Anne; sons Robert (Annette) of Winnipeg and Gary (Louise) of Ste. Anne; grandchildren Judy Larocque, Neil, Rick and Gordon Hart, Debbie and Sandra Dunstan, Kirk and Jason Melnick, Diana Blook, Robby Desrochers, Brenda Lesage, Chantelle Johnson, Justin Desrochers and Crystal Morris; 29 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Eva will be sadly missed by brothers Albert, Omer and Emile of Winnipeg

Predeceased by her 1st husband Gerard Desrochers and 2nd husband Arthur Hallett, two children Emile and Diana, two siblings Marie and Louis and two grandchildren Jodie and Luke.

Mom was fun loving, witty and had a zest for life; always putting everyone before herself. Whether working or volunteering for the community she was always giving of herself. Mom was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of the Villa Youville and Sœurs Rioux and Forest.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2010 at Green Acres Funeral Home with Rev. Fr. René Chartier officiating. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
