On May 12, 2024 after a lengthy illness, Gary passed away. He fought hard right to the end.
He will always be remembered by his loving wife Rosemary of 52 years and family, son Dean and wife Teresa, children Rhys, Celeste, Tasia, Ana, and Aubrey. Daughter Amanda and husband Scott, children Jake and Carly. Daughter Melanie and children Alexander and Mickenzie. He was predeceased by his mother and father Harry and Mary Pfeifer.
Gary retired from C.P Rail and after that worked at Little Mountain Sportsplex. He loved working there as baseball was his passion. He spent a lot of time on the diamonds, both here and in Arizona during the winter.

A Celebration of life will be held on June the 7th, 2024 at Little Mountain Sportsplex on Klimpke Rd at 2:00 pm. As a tribute to Gary, he would like for all the ball players to wear their jerseys. Interment will be at a later date.
