Gerard Jean Joseph Gendron

It is with the happiest of memories and greatest sadness that we share the peaceful passing of our amazing and beautiful Gerry Gendron, who died at home June 11, 2022, surrounded by his family. Beautiful husband, wonderful father, precious grandfather, beloved brother, uncle and friend.

He leaves behind those who will honour and pass on his values of loyalty, kindness, integrity and his quirky humour: spouse Jeannine, children Joël (Carmelle), André (Marie Claude), Nathalie (Scott) and Robert: his amazing grandchildren that he loved so much, Jean Michel, Cédric, Rosalie, Thomas, Mélodie, Vincent, Annabelle and Émilie; his sister Dianne (Bert) Verzyl, brother Adélard (Anneli) Gendron, and life long friends Robert Fontaine and François Gratton.

Gerry was predeceased by his parents Agénor and Emma Gendron, siblings Léo and Anne-Marie Gendron, sisters in law Hélène and Léa Gendron, brother-in-law Michel Bohémier, mother and father-in-law Denis and Blanche Bohémier.

Gendron. Il est parti paisiblement chez lui le 11 juin 2022, entouré de sa famille comme il l'avait souhaité.

Nous nous souviendrons toujours de Gérard comme étant sage, patient et agissant toujours avec intégrité. Son amour et son dévouement à sa famille et ses proches étaient présents dans sa façon de vivre à tous les jours. Sa présence était accompagnée d'un sourire et d'un air taquin. Gérard était passionné par la nature, le canotage et l'histoire. Il était toujours prêt à partir à l’aventure. Il était généreux avec ses connaissances dans ses passions et accueillait tous avec bras ouvert. Tu nous manqueras, Gérard.

A celebration of Gerry’s life with family and close friends will be at Green Acres Funeral Home Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 9:30 AM followed by refreshments and interment. The service will be live streamed at www.greenacresfuneralhome.com
