Ida Langford (nee Marcoux)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ida (Adeline) Langford nee Marcoux on Saturday August 1, 2026, at the age of 92, at Riverview Health Centre. Ida was predeceased by her loving husband Cleveland Langford, her son Cleve Cal Langford, parents: Alphonse and Germaine Marcoux, all her siblings: Jerry (Adelard) Marcoux, Lina Langford, Celina Smith, Anna Marcoux, Gerard Marcoux, and Doris Beauchemin.

Ida will be dearly missed by her children: Sharon (Wayne) Murdock, (Lisa Langford), Don (Kelly) Langford, Carol (Keith) Pickering, Monique (John) Hadaller, Lisa (Miles) Moorhouse; her 27 Grandchildren; 17 Great-grandchildren; extended family members and dear friends.

Ida was born in Winnipeg, raised in Richer, MB. She attended school in Ste. Anne and worked many jobs and retired from her long employment with JM Schneider’s Meats. Cleve and Ida were happily married for 58 years, raised 6 children, and they shared a passion for music, family, friendship, and community. Ida served the community in many ways, was a long-standing member of Blessed Sacrament Parish, involved in the Catholic Women’s League and all parish ministries.

We will remember you always, Ida, Mom, Mama, for your youthful energy, love for life, and your devotion to family and friends.

A service will be held at on Thursday, August 20, at 10 a.m., at Green Acres Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1 Green Acres Lane, Navin, MB.

A private family interment will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home.
