Lorraine Hebert

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lorraine Hebert on December 23, 2025, at the age of 77.

Lorraine’s precious memory will be cherished by her husband Rene; son Daniel, and daughter Michelle (Tom); and grandson Shane.

Born on February 1, 1948, at St. Boniface Hospital to the late John and Jeanne Kindrat, Lorraine grew up as the second oldest of four children. She will be lovingly remembered by her older brother Raymond (Vickie), younger brother Larry (Linda), and younger sister Sharon (Bruce).

Lorraine grew up in St. Boniface throughout her childhood, making many lasting memories. On January 10, 1975, Lorraine married Rene where they resided in Windsor Park for the next several years to raise their two children. Early on she worked as a bank teller but then turned her career focus to caring for other people’s children. She ran her home daycare for many years, giving love and attention to all those who entered her home. When not caring for children, Lorraine spent her time enjoying her passions: traveling, bowling, playing cards with family and friends, reading, and spending time with her group of Vivacious Violets.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Health Science Center for their compassionate care.

A celebration of life for Lorraine is planned for the spring. Details will be shared at a later date.
