Louis Luke Bugyik

April 13, 1921 ~ April 30, 2012,

Ostenfeld, Manitoba, WWII Veteran

Peacefully at the Beausejour District Hospital, Louis passed away at the age of 91.

Louis resided in his home until April 7, 2012. His primary caregiver, son Marvin, was with Louis at his passing.

Left to cherish Louis’s memory: children Raymond (Sharon), Gary (Louise), Marvin, and Gaylene (Ken) Kramchynski, grandchildren Paul (Julia) Bugyik, Shaylene (Shaun) Corneillie, Calvin Bugyik & fiancée Danusia Wegrzyn, Lianne and Kyle Kramchynski. Great-grandchildren Cailyn & Claire Corneillie, Emily & Joshua Bugyik, brother Sidney, relatives of wife Lily, friends and neighbours.

Predeceased by wife Lily of 55 years, parents Luke and Roseanna Bugyik, infant grandson Michael, brothers Allen and Walter (John).

Louis grew up in Anola and after WWII resided on the farm in Ostenfeld with his family.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home. Interment will follow after the service.
