Mag was a truly wonderful lady who in my early years was my mentor, my protector and one of my greatest friends. Her home and her heart were always open to anyone in need.
She taught me a great many things including how to knit and tried hard to teach me how to crochet (but I could never get it right). I have many wonderful knit and crocheted pieces she made for me and my children and I have always cherished them.
Mag thank you for everything you did for me. I will always love you.

My deepest sympathy to you Jimmy, Jerry and families...Mag will be greatly missed..her beautiful smile and kind heart..I have so many fond memories living next door on Dawson Rd...Mag taught me how to knit, crochet etc.I remember helping her make homemade noodles.. we had noodles hanging and drying all over the kitchen... every time I see a dandelion..I think of Mag..and us kids searching for the best so she could make her dandelion wine..Mag and Russell garden of vegetables and flowers was always abundant and an envy.. she sure had a green thumb for indoor and outdoor plants...Sweet Peas always bring a smile to my face.. Russell had chicken wire length and height of his garage facing our home..every Spring the whole side was covered in beautiful sweet smelling, colourful Sweet Peas...I still wear a sweater that Mag made for me about 40 years ago.. I call it my comfort sweater..and whenever I have a compliment on it..I speak of Mag with love in my voice...with all the memories throughout the years, and with them in my heart.. their light lives on.. Russell is with his "Tootsie" again..and I know they are smiling down on us..God Bless..with love Sheila Mistelbacher Ouellette
