Mervin leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Camille; children Lucy (Steve), Ian (Sara-Jane) and Trevor; grandchildren: Danielle and Emerson; brothers; Errol, Garvin(Ivanka), Suresh; sister; Leila (Doody), Anne (Tony), Verna, Diane, Camille; sister-in-law; Brenda, nephews; Leon (Tara & family), Ryan (Megan & Kai), Caelan, Nicholas; nieces; Susan (Vern & family), Amelia (Sorrel); Sabrina (Dan), Catherine, Alyssa (Leonardo),Reanna, Shavana, Celina and Shanessa. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Kathleen and eldest brother Leon.
Mervin was an avid cricketer playing for Lions Sports and Cricket club where he made lasting friendships. Later in life his bats-man swing made him a natural golfer. His quiet strength, thoughtful demeanor and easy laugh will be missed.
