It is with great sadness that we announce the passing away of Pearl at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 93.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Theodore in 1988 which left her very lonely. Also predeceasing her were her parents Paul and Nettie Kaleta, her sisters Mary, Mildred and Lillian and her brothers Steve and Roman.
Left to mourn are her son Raymond (Lynn), grandchildren Orrin and Ryden, sister Jean Nixon of Toronto and brother Peter (Barbara) and many nieces and nephews.
Mom was born in Cooks Creek, Manitoba, moved to Anola, Manitoba at the age of 3, left for work in Winnipeg at a very early age, and returned to Anola in the early 30’s where she married Theodore and spent all her life farming.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother she devoted her life to her family.
In keeping with Mom’s wishes cremation has taken place and an interment of ashes will take place at the Eastdale Cemetery on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. where she will rest alongside her husband.
